Michigan Adoptees are Now on Meet Up!

Metro Detroit and West Michigan Adoptee Meet Up Logos

Adoptee Advocates of Michigan is excited to announce three new opportunities for Michigan Adoptees to meet and build friendships with one another on the Meet Up platform: Metro Detroit Adoptee Meet Up, North / Central Michigan Adoptee Meet Up, and West Michigan Adoptee Meet Up. These groups are dedicated to providing friendships, resources, and community for adult adoptees of all backgrounds. Whether you were adopted domestically or internationally, transracially or interracially, our focus is on creating a safe and inclusive space for adoptees to share their experiences, build connections, and empower one another. Join us to engage in meaningful discussions, educational events, and social gatherings that highlight the unique challenges and strengths of being an adoptee. Whether you are searching for your biological family, navigating the complexities of identity, or simply looking for a community that understands your journey, this group is here for you.

We will showcase events that are in person as well as online so that we can continue to build and strengthen our Michigan adopted community. We currently have multiple events posted in each group.

**If you have an idea for an event, please let us know. We would love to make this a great place to share what is going on throughout the state and support our adopted community.
